  I was very pleased with the professionalism, efficiency, care, and kindness with which the staff members at Asheville Area Alternative Funeral Services handled the death of my wife, Lee DiCesare. When I first went there, I felt cold and angry that she had died, that I would never see her again, but their kindness helped me a great deal in getting over that. And the modest cost for a perfectly fine and appropriate urn for her ashes as well as for the whole service came at the right time for us. After all the horror stories I had heard of funeral directors pressuring the bereaved spouse to "do right" by his or her beloved, I was braced for a fight. It wasn't necessary. They wanted only what I wanted. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone, and I'm mighty grateful to REv. Brian Cole at All Souls Cathedral for recommending them. I know that my beloved wife Lee would also have been appreciative and grateful.

  My dad, Harvey Jenkins, funeral was taken care of by Ashe. Area Alternative. They performed a fantastic service for our family. Everyone was most courteous and professional. We spoke with two other facilities in town before choosing this company. No regrets. Thank you for making this as easy as you possible.
